Thanks to Dani, who allowed me to post this, she went with Tobi Iyan to the set of Skins, this what happen.
Hey there im Daniela lewis and i went behind the scenes with skins on the 21st of september with compitition winner Tobi Iyan. I attended the skins secret party where i met tobi and his look stood out so much he immediately got chosen to be an extra in the new series! tobi was aloud to bring 1 person as company, he chose me as he thought i was bubbly and good company and also knew i was a skins fan.
So we both got prepared for Bristol, On the 20th of september i went to meet Tobi at paddington station for 6.30pm as are train was leavin at 7.00pm, we had to meet Jamie Dodds from E4 who was giving us our train tickets and also looking after us too! thanks Jamie you was brilliant! we sat on the train for ages i was excited and couldnt wait to see the cast the next day. I read the call sheet and saw which casts were going to be on set tomorro oh how lucky i felt.

9.30 we arrived in bristol starving out of our minds we went to the marriot hotel where we was staying! such a massive grin on my face when i saw the room!checked in and went to eat at pizza express in the center of bristol, was very tasty indeed thanks to channel 4 for looking after me and Tobi!
We got back to the hotel later in the night, i couldnt help but be very happy and bouncy about staying at the marriot everything was lush! me and Tobi stayed up for a while having a good laugh and watching telly.
21st of september woke up at 7.45am to get ready for breakfast. Obviously i took ages because im a girl and i need my time haha i then went and met Jamie and Tobi down in the breakfast lounge and ate some tasty breakfast the pancakes were chewy!
For about 9.15 we checked out of the hotel with our stuff and jumped into the mini bus, our driver was called Ian he was FAB he took us to where the set was with casts Lerissa Wilson who plays the role of Jal and Joseph Dempsie who plays Chris. Was good seeing them act in real life rather then on the telly i took a few pics of the cast and the set i loved it! it was awesome i’d do it every day, just watching the cast made me more interested in acting aswel.

I got to meet Joe Dempsie (chris) later on in the day. Larrisa Wilson (Jal) had finished her scene and headed home we then attended bristol university where a scene where i was placed as an extra, reading a book in the background although you could only see the back of me i was very much happy with my rol haha. I also got to meet Harry Enfield who was directing! i was soo star struck when i saw him he is an actual legend! i couldnt help but laugh at everything he did! Harry Enfield also plays the part of Tony’s dad Jim.
Tobi got to play his part in the scene as a life guard in the background. seeing the action was so strange as im use to watching it on the telly, it does get very frustrating for the cast as they have to repeat the same scene more then once, i didnt mind at all i actually loved it shame i couldnt meet all the cast especially Hannah Murray who plays cassie, shes one of my favs!
I got introduced to some of the film crew, one guy called Seth he was brill! kinda looked exactly like Joe who plays chris seriously! and Chloe in the picture below shes lovely! and is doing a great job!

We moved scenes later on in the day after we had lunch, Harry Enfield (Jim) had to play a scene in the swimming pool with a few extra’s. As that was goin on i had the chance to speak to Joe Dempsie (Chris) about his acting and his scenes, embarressed him on one of his scenes where he was with with his teacher Angie i even made him act it out it was amazing.
I had such a laugh and time flew by, Joe Dempsie had finished work so it was me and Tobi and a few extras left for th next scene we had to walk past as uni students holding folders roughly about 7 times to get the scene just right, although it took alot of time to do i still loved it and so did Tobi! we had such a good time and as soon as that scene was done it was a rap!
ive met a few of the cast, a few of the filming crew, and so many others involved, it was a day to remember absolutly changed my veiw on acting! and would love to be an actress in the future. Thanks E4, thanks Tobi for taking me and thanks to every1 a right bunch you are.
