Abi Brennan, 16, entered the Channel 4 and NSPCC Raw Cuts: ID competition earlier this year, after hearing about it on the Skins myspace, the aim was for 13 to 18 year olds were asked to explore their identity on film. As a student from Northampton, she is one of only four young filmmakers to win a Channel 4 competition to produce and broadcast their own short film later this year. After producing a web log and video diary that showed the 16-year-old with her friends in Northampton, Abi beat off competition from thousands of other aspiring film producers to shoot a 59-second film. |
