In a bid to be hip and up-to-date Channel 4 have given 15 teenagers camcorders as a social media experiment.
They’ll be recording crucial parts of their adolescent lives - and footage will regularly be put online at www.yeardot.co.uk and MySpace.
The best and most interesting stuff - like people deciding their future education or giving insight into urban youth culture - will also be screened over 30 documentaries for daytime.
The first block will be shown from September 22.
It could be like watching a real-life episode of Skins with a happy ending…
